Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course aims to evaluate the functional mechanisms of the cells, organs, and systems that make up the human organism and the relationships between these functional processes.
Course Content: To provide individuals with the skills of adequate and balanced nutrition, nutrition in special situations, food safety, purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking and choosing healthy food outside the home.

1) Having sufficient theoretical and applied knowledge about mathematics, science and engineering and the ability to apply this knowledge to the solution of engineering problems.
2) Ability to conduct literature search, collect data, design and conduct experiments, analyze, interpret and evaluate results for the solution of industrial engineering problems.
3) Ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for detecting, defining, formulating and solving industrial engineering problems
4) Ability to design a complex system, process or product under realistic constraints to meet its requirements and to apply modern design methods
5) Ability to work inside the discipline and interdisciplinary both individually and inside teams
6) Ability to effectively use information technologies and other modern methodologies required for engineering applications
7) The ability to track the developments in science and technology by becoming aware of life-long learning and to continuously improve oneself
8) Ability to communicate effectively using written, verbal and visual communication medias both in Turkish and English
