Dersin Amaç ve İçeriği

Course Objectives: This course aims to teach students the English vocabulary and grammar rules they will need in their academic and professional lives, focusing on four language skills (reading-writing-listening-speaking).
Course Content: This course consists of the necessary studies for students to learn English language skills, professional terms, and understand what they read.

Program Outcomes
1) - To have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources containing current knowledge in the field of physiotherapy.
2) Has basic knowledge about basic medical and health sciences that can be used in the field of physiotherapy.
3) Has the knowledge of physiotherapy-specific ethical, adequate, up-to-date and reliable assessment, treatment program planning, implementation, termination of treatment and changing the program that can be used in physiotherapy applications.
4) To be able to interpret and evaluate data using advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, to identify and analyze problems, to develop solutions based on research and evidence.
5) Interprets the knowledge gained about physiotherapy evaluation and treatment methods by associating, applies individual-specific evaluation methods, makes physiotherapy diagnosis, plans individual-specific physiotherapy program, applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods, terminates the treatment or changes the program when necessary.
6) To be able to have lifelong learning skills related to the profession of physiotherapist and to have the ability to question, change and develop the knowledge acquired in the perspective of the profession.
7) To be able to inform the relevant people and institutions about the issues related to physiotherapy, to be able to transfer their thoughts and suggestions for solutions to the problem in written and verbally.
8) To be able to use foreign language effectively in order to follow scientific and technological developments in the field of physiotherapy and health.
9) To be able to share their thoughts on issues related to physiotherapy and their suggestions for solutions to problems with experts and non-experts by supporting them with quantitative and qualitative data.
10) Has the competence of lifelong learning, developing new ideas, critically evaluating current practices and orienting to the field of professional interest related to the profession of physiotherapy.
11) To be able to evaluate advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation with a critical approach.
12) Knows occupational health and safety issues related to physiotherapy and has the competence to apply.
13) Has the competence to act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the stages of collecting, interpreting, applying and announcing the results of scientific and clinical data related to physiotherapy.
