| Dersin Amacı: |
The aim of this course is to enable students to develop the ability to understand the social, political, religious, and literary background of the English Renaissance; to grasp fundamental literary terms such as the sonnet, pastoral poetry, prose, utopia, and the essay; to study the leading authors and poets of the period and their works; and to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to establish connections between different periods and texts within the Renaissance context and to analyse them in detail. |
