| Profile of the Program (Information Package) The Digital Transformation Electronics Program is an interdisciplinary associate degree program designed to meet the workforce demands of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation processes. The program integrates electronics, software, and automation technologies, aiming to educate technically competent graduates who can develop, implement, and maintain smart systems. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as microcontrollers, embedded systems, industrial automation (PLC/SCADA), sensor technologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), and AI-supported applications. The curriculum is enriched with laboratory-based courses and project-oriented learning to strengthen practical skills. In addition, the 3+1 education model allows students to spend their final semester in industry, gaining real-world experience and facilitating a smooth transition into professional life. The program emphasizes innovation, problem-solving, teamwork, ethical responsibility, and lifelong learning, preparing graduates to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and contribute effectively to the digital transformation of industry and society. Program Objectives (DS 4.2) The objectives of the Digital Transformation Electronics Program are to: Educate graduates who can design, implement, and maintain integrated electronic and software-based systems used in digital transformation processes. Provide students with a solid foundation in electronics, automation, and computing, along with practical skills aligned with current industry needs. Develop competencies in microcontrollers, embedded systems, industrial automation, IoT, and data acquisition and processing technologies. Foster analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in multidisciplinary teams. Instill professional ethics, quality awareness, and a sense of responsibility in engineering and technical practices. Encourage lifelong learning and the ability to follow and adapt to emerging technologies. Prepare graduates who can communicate effectively and adapt quickly to professional environments through industry-integrated training experiences. |
