MUDANYA UNIVERSITY

The establishment of Bursa Education and Culture Foundation was agreed upon in line with the goal of establishing a foundation university in Bursa by our Chairman of the Board of Trustees Gıyasettin Bingöl, who has devoted his life to education and has great accomplishments in this field. The establishment of Bursa Education and Culture Foundation was announced in the Official Gazette dated 04.02.2017 and numbered 29969.

Between 2017-2019, the foundation organised numerous search conferences, bringing together many civil and official institutions in Bursa to explore the possible models for the university.

In the light of the information and demands obtained, Mudanya University, the construction of which started in 2019, was officially founded by Bursa Education and Culture Foundation on 11.03.2022 with the unanimous vote of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
