1) Know the basic assumptions within the basic trends, theoretical approaches and perspectives in the field of psychology, make comparisons between approaches, identify similarities and differences. | |||||||||||||||||||
2) Knows the purpose and scope of psychology, its origins, historical development and its relations with other disciplines. | |||||||||||||||||||
3) To have knowledge about different theoretical approaches in the field of psychology at an advanced level supported by textbooks, application tools and other resources containing up-to-date information. | |||||||||||||||||||
4) Knows the subfields of psychology, the subject of study of each subfield and the specific methods used in each subfield. | |||||||||||||||||||
5) Knows the basic application areas of psychology. | |||||||||||||||||||
6) Knows how psychology deals with mental and behavioral processes, how and with which measurement and evaluation tools it uses the scientific method. | |||||||||||||||||||
